Directions to the park from northbound lanes of Highway 147 (Durham
Expressway): Take the Duke St exit and head north. It is a one-way street
so you will have no choice! Go straight through the light at the intersection
of Duke and W Chapel Hill St. Cross some railroad tracks and then go
straight through the light at the intersection with W Main St. (The
Brightleaf area will be on your left.) Continue straight through the
intersection with W Morgan. You will then come to Durham School of the
Arts on your left and West Village on your
right. Go past Fernway and take a right onto Corporation. Cross over
railroad tracks and go straight through the intersection with Washington/Morris.
The old Durham Athletic Park will be on the corner. Park at the DAP
or in another nearby lot and walk across Corporation Street to the park.
Directions to the park from southbound lanes of Highway 147 (Durham
Expressway): Take the Chapel Hill St exit. Turn left at the top of the
ramp. Proceed through the light at the intersection with Gregson St
and turn left at the next intersection onto Duke St. Go straight through
the light at the intersection of Duke and W Chapel Hill
St. Cross some railroad tracks and then go straight through the light
at the intersection with W Main St. (The Brightleaf area will be on
your left.) Continue straight through the intersection with W Morgan.
You will then come to Durham School of the Arts on your left and West
