Our 2009 Bike Raffle Winner is
Polly Harris
A West Trinity resident and frequenter of the farmers market.
When Polly was called to alert her to the fact that she had won the bike, she exclaimed “Yee Haw!” Last Saturday, Polly walked over to pick up her bike while visiting the Durham Farmer’s Market. She brought her helmet, did a bit of shopping and headed home on her new bike with a big smile on her face.
All the proceeds from the raffle go to Durham Central Park to help manage and develop this wonderful urban park for the people of Durham.
Thanks go to Bicycle Chain on Broad Street for supplying DCP with the bicycle at cost for the raffle.”
